Due to the increase of enrollment for SY 2009-2010, Mrs. Loida Nicolas-Lewis, Founder and President, recently approved the construction of the extension at the Francisco J. Nicolas, Sr. (FJN) Building inside The Lewis College campus in Cogon, Sorsogon City.

Mrs. Loida Lewis, along with vice president Imelda Nicolas and treasurer Francisco Nicolas, Jr., initiated the formal groundbreaking ceremonies last June 27, 2009. Also present to witness the event were Officer-in-Charge Dr. Rose Anonat, special guest Mrs. Menchie Gardose, as well as other faculty and staff of TLC.
Blessing and prayer for construction was done by Bishop Jerry Carino. Several students also joined Ms. Mely Nicolas in the traditional cementing of the design capsule.
Construction at site is expected to begin this July 2009. The extension will accommodate 8 classrooms, the library, AVR and the chapel.
