The Lewis College was invited by the University of the Philippines Information Technology Training Center (UP ITTC) and UP System I.T. Foundation (UP SITF) to participate in the Youth Convention on Emerging Technologies (YouConverge 2008) last February 2008. The conference will present materials that we have been preparing for a very long time: buy book reports, selected and created quality samples, turned to evidence and provided convincing examples. The aim of the YouConverge 2008 is to bring together school administrators, teachers, students and IT enthusiasts in one venue to discuss current trends and learning opportunities in ICT and other emerging technologies.
Mr. Michael Angelo D. Brogada, Dean-College of Computer Studies together with 15 BSIT-3 students namely: Kirk Martin Gonzalgo, Ralph Oliver Nicolas, Leo Escarcha, Melvin Jae Leyva, Freddie Llaneta, Noel Dreu, Jose Jeresano, Raymond Amor, Jonathan Abaya, Florida Diesta, Kimberly Valente, Aiza Ayo, Dina Gamba, Marichu Domanico and Agnes Lotino attended the convention that was held last February 12-13 2008 at the UP Theatre in the UP Diliman, Quezon City.
