| Jean and Carolyn Fugett Building Inaugurated |

Another historic occasion for The Lewis College was the formal Inauguration of the preschool building, aptly named "Jean and Carolyn Fugett Building". Gracing this event was Mrs. Carolyn Fugett herself, along with TLC founder and president Atty. Loida Nicolas Lewis, as well as TLC treasurer Mr. Francisco Nicolas, Jr. with his wife, Mam Ching.
Mrs. Fugett briefly addressed the crowd about her belief of how important it is to lay the right foundation for children and thereby admonished the teachers to teach and mold the preschool kids properly.
Also present in this event were Bishop Arturo Bastes (who performed the blessing rites on the building), OIC Dr. Rosa Anonat, Finance Officer Peter Jumamil, Jr., along with the teachers, faculty and staff of The Lewis College. To the delight of the guests and crowd, a lively presentation of the TLC Drum and Lyre Corp followed the inauguration.
