INTRAMS HIGHLIGHTS CHARACTER NOBILITY
The traditional Intramurals of The Lewis College was held on September 25-28, 2007. This event emphasized holistic development of students and professionals alike as everybody in school participated in any manner he was capable of. The week-long activity consisted of various events: sports, dancing, singing, speaking and indigenous games. Integrated in the different events was the development of values and personality as the theme suggests: “Highlighting Nobility of Character Through Sports”.
There were four competing teams all named after noble gases. Helium, Radon, Xenon, and Krypton. Each team had a choice of colors: yellow for Helium, green for Radon, blue for Xenon, and red for Krypton. Noble gases are those that are not affected or least affected by the action of other gases. Each team was composed of pupils from the Pre-School, Elementary, High School and College.
Since personality development is an important aspect of intramurals, a search for Mr. and Ms. Intramurals was conducted; the result of which led to the proclamation of Ms. Paula Jasareno and Mr. Kirk Gonzalgo; first year Education student and 3rd year BSIT student respectively. Other beauties were: First RunnerUp, Jelina Marie Galarosa, 4th year high school and Amer Christian Esparas, 1st year, BSIT; Second Runner UP: Monique Naperi, 2nd year high school and John Frivaldo, 1st year BSIT
