Unprecedented, this may be said of the awards gathered by The Lewis College during the National Arts Month - Bicol Arts Festival 2008 held on February 19, 2008 at the Legaspi Astrodome, Legaspi City.

It was the first time that the Theater and Dance Group of The Lewis College joined a competition in the Bicol Region including that of the Bicol University in their Theater Musical Presentation adapted from the Istorya Kan Sorsogon shown last December during the First Sorsogon Festival. The participation of TLC Theater Group was sponsored by the City Government of Sorsogon. The musicale presentation was directed by Mr. Noel Amador, Cultural Coordinator of The Lewis College with the assistance of Mr. Jun Dugan, City Tourism Consultant and Mr. Azel Diesta, Director of the City Employment Services Coordinating Center City Urban Poor Programme (CESCC)

For a prize, the Theater Group received a trophy and a cash award of four thousand pesos.

Highlighting the Festival was the selection of the Bicol Arts Festival Princess which was awarded to Ms. Paula Angelica Jasareno, a first year BSBA student of The Lewis College. She was also awarded Best in Festival Costume and Best in Trendy Attire plus a trophy, sash, bouquet and crown.
