Good news for college students this Academic Year 2017-2018!

The City Scholarship Management Committee of the Office of the City Mayor of Sorsogon came out with a plan help Tertiary Students who are residing, and are currently enrolled in Sorsogon City Schools.  This plan came into effect last September 15, 2017, when Mayor Sally A. Lee personally handed out to private school heads and representatives the checks for student-grantees who are qualified for financial assistance of Two Thousand Pesos per semester, or Php 4,000.00 a year. This is part of Mayor Lee’s priority programs in order to meet the five goals for Sorsogon City this 2017: of becoming an Inclusive, Resilient, Livable, Competitive and Sustainable City.

This amount is an aid for the cost of Higher education tuition fees and miscellaneous fees. The grant recipients were screened and evaluated by the TLC Scholarship Committee and the City Scholarship Management Committee.
